Even though the Lord does forgive us of sin, you could have lifelong consequences to live with. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. You can know for sure that your sin will find you out. I know this from experience to be true. God may not remove the consequences of your actions and may allow you to live with a reminder of your choices. Be careful and heed the convictions! Ignoring that small conviction and committing a quick sin could have a devastating consequence that never leaves.
